Sounds good. Was the recording set-up the same? The custom shop one sounds noticeably louder & thicker.

I'm leaning toward slight mic placement and pickup height differences as being responsible for most of the change in recorded clarity and volume (the pickups basically sound the same otherwise), but what do I know...

What I do know is that, if Allan Holdsworth ever rocked an SH-6, it would've been the Tyrannotitan

Love the dual screw coils. Ibanez did something similar with the TB-6 in their mid-2000s SZ4XXX/SZ2XXX series guitars and I thought they sounded killer!
