I did this on a couple electric banjos, (one P-Rail, one Cool Rail. the diagrams I found on this site were confusing to me, ok maybe I’m a little bit dyslexic, ha ha.
In the most trusted legitimate diagram I found here ( by Hermetico) the two pots were illustrated as inverted from each other, which made it hard for me to visualize on my installation, so I made this one with my phone.
It is confirmed as working properly-
