Hello Boys and Girls !!! Hey ya John !!!! Yep, the Re-Issue TS-808 is pretty Durn Good !!! Scott, I've got a Keeley TS-9 also, and you're right, it's a Keeper !!!! I really like this RI 808. I've got Tubescreamers of all Vintages, sizes, shapes, etc....LOL The RI 808 is very close to my Original 808's, and very close to the Keeley, also. My Original TS-9's do have, as Curly said, a mid hump...but to me, that's a GOOD thang !!!! I'm not crazy about the Re-Issue TS-9, however. It sounds very sterile compared to the others. If I had to Rate em, I'd put em in this order:
1. Original 808
2.Tie between Keeley TS-9, Original TS-9, and RI 808
3. RI TS-9
With all that being said,......I really think the Tubescreamer is one of the most valuable tools you can have. I would recommend to anyone thinkin about gettin one to get the RI 808, or the Keeley TS-9. They are comparable in price and performance, and are wonderful pedals. ......

I went to the G2D site and they have four models. Then I went outside and plugged my 535/seths into the Bad Cat and cranked it up, no master. With all the tone options on this amp and the two alnico red fang speakers I can get some really nice Carlton tones. Maybe I don't need a dumble-tone pedal, maybe I don't need another pedal. Just need to crank the damn amp up.
