My ( stupid) question

So when I put my Les Paul on neck position and I tap it with a screw driver it works, it's over loud but then I tap the bridge pickup and it comes in, but only a little bit... And vice versa on the bridge position...

Is this right ?

Is it that I don't have strings on my guitar yet ? Thanks a bunch

Yeah i am sure this has happened to me too. I think its normal..... the other guys will know

they still may be out of phase with one another

Out of phase (if this is the case) would only be in effect in the middle position. What the OP descrives is absolutely normal and desired.
