Hey Guys!
Here's my rendition of Manhattan.
Used mainly my Highway 1 strat on positions 1 and 2. It has antiquity A2 magnets in it. The guitar goes into a TUBE MP preamp. Then I go into my soundcard. I record a completely dry mono signal. Then I use amplitube in Sonar 3.0 using different british amp presets.
The main rhythm track is the "tube clean" preamp stage with the 50watt power section, hooked up to a 2x12 british cabinet. Used position 1 on my strat.
Both solos are the "british crunch" preamp preset, going into 100watt power section, with the gain at max. Using the 4x12 british MOD cabinet.
I used the "dynamic mic" with "off-axis" setting sound simulation.
The remaining sounds are variations of these 2 amp models.
For the slide section I used my Heritage LP on the neck pickup. I applied Sonar reverb very heavilly after the amplitube amp model settings.
I tried to put some of my own personality into the song. Please tell me what you think.
