My Tremolo Christmas List

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
In case you were wondering. Some of these are kinda pricey, so in case you were thinking of getting me one as a gift....

In no particular order:

#1 Old Blood Noise Endeavors Whitecap - allows simultaneous asynchronous tremolo!
#2 Walrus Monument - Tap and harmonic mode, so Harmonic tap!
#3 Pigtronix Tremvelope - Tremolo with envelope triggering and expression pedal options? Hell yes!
#4 Voodoo Labs Tremolo - 4 knob version
#5 Source Audio Vertigo
#6 Supro Tremolo - THE classic Harmonic to own
#7 Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird v3 or v4 - Earthquaker, bro!
#8 Wampler Lattitude
#9 Cusack Tap-A-Whirl - The Red/Blue version.
#10 Dunlop TV-1 Tremolo Volume Pedal - Because cool as $#!t!!!!
#11 Boss PN-2 Tremolo-PAn - Just for historical purposes and rarity
(OK - those first three are in order...Cusack probably number 4, followed by Wampler maybe)

Surprising ones I don't want!
- Jam Pedals Harmonius Monk - Again, not a Harmonic guy, but the Harmonic guys dig it hard.
- Origin Effects Revivaltrem - Just never excited me, especially at that price. It's a frickin' Tremolo, seriously.
- Diamond Tremolo - Good? Absolutely, but never understood the epic love for it.

Ones I wouldn't mind having, but also don't jones for:
Strymon Flint - The Standard in tremolo Reverb combos, a classic already
Keeley Hydra - An alternative to the Flint

Do you already have a Shape Shifter and a Mobius? That VHT pedal sounds really good on the tremolo side. No great shakes for the reverb, though.

I have a Shape Shifter

Strymon Mobius is wayyyyy too much. Technically and cost. LMAO - first google listing says "Mobius in 6 easy payments!"

Flint Way in line before Mobius.

Bruce Pimping the Moog. I'm intrigued. Had not considered that. Interesting...

I'm switching between Harmonic, Photo, Tube styleTremelo tones so much right now that I'm going to put a second trem on the board for live.

Nice list to refer to.

The list of Tremolos I have is longer....

Damn, wow. I just have on-board amp tremelo on 2 Fenders and a Sivertone amp, 2 very old Boss TU2 Trems that have been beat to hell touring in the 90s and 00s and a Strymon Flint which I use the hell out of now. I may have one or 2 others like a Danelectro I think

I recently moved the Flint off my board in favor of the Keeley Verb O Trem because I found that I like the Harmonic Trem setting on the VOT better. However, I have been missing the Tube setting from the Flint and may have to add it back in an open spot I have on the power supply. The Flint had been my go to for years, and jumping to and from the Tube and Harmonic modes.

Cool, Haven't heard the Keeley Harmonic Trem... What specifically do you prefer about it?

Can't answer the question, but Harmonic Trem dudes are a lot like Vibe dudes. Some like a more "Chorus-y" vibe, others like a more "Phase-y" vibe.

The degree of harmonic variation and chewiness is different from Trem to Trem. Some prefer one or the other.

I've never heard a harmonic trem that sounds like a chorus. They're definitely a phase shifting effect - somewhere between a phaser and a univibe to my ear.

There's a particular warmth to it that I never really seemed to get out of the Flint. I also think it lands in a very thick spot the way I have it set and the phaseyness of it just feels very swampy and lush.
