These gravelly styles suit your voice well. You nailed that godsmack one, and this audioslave clip sounds pretty good too, not quite as on point, but close. I think these styles suit you well because you tend to really belt things out, so in less powerful genres it sometimes sounds over-sung. Works like a charm in this context though. I enjoyed both of these a good bit!

I am having a lot of fun with the gravelly styles, I dig that Godsmack one too. I wake up thinking about vocal distortion. really I think I should focus more on singing those styles and not trying to be a jack of all trades, save that for later and focus on what I want to shine on.

Tonight I have been working on "Hey Man Nice Shot" by Filter, my initial recording of the vocal distortion on the chorus sounds killer! I gotta work on smoothing out the other parts, Ill post it in a day or three. Rock on!!!! :headbang:
