My girlfriends pretty quick at noticing new guitars. I didn't tell her when I got my Kramer and she came down to the basement and maybe 5 minutes later she was like "wait a minute.. when did you get that one???" Not that she cares though. She knows guitar is one of the most important things to me and she doesn't care.

You're 17! You're not financially beholden to any woman but your mamma! The way you do it with the GF is to say "I'm buying this now. Go do your homework or something."

If I said that she'd smack me. I've been dating this girl for 2.5 years and the way we are my money is her's and her money is mine.

You're crazy man.. I've been with my chick for 2 years next month and my money is mine and her money is hers. I can borrow cash from her if I want to, shes more than willing.. but I tell her no, its her cash use it on something she wants.
