N.S.D.???

Re: N.S.D.???

IMO, those MIC Celestion loudspeakers are a false economy on Marshall's part in an attempt to keep the list price as low as possible.

Oh, it definitely is! I mean Sweetwater was running a deal on DSL's a while ago with Chinese Creambacks in them for $700 which is the same price as you pay for the ones that have the Seventy/80's? The difference in quality and tone between the MIC's & MIE's is rather minimal but personally I'd rather pay a extra $50 & get a better speaker/speakers in my combo or cabinet.... I like Seventy/80's, if they are paired up with something else? Alone I find them kinda sterile sounding...

Re: N.S.D.???

That speaker came out of my Sweetwater DSL40c. They are not MIC.

To my Knowledge, and I believe this has been confirmed by Celestion, all Creambacks are U.K. production.

I have my Creamback 65 paired with an H30 70th Ann. Sounds great. Next, I'd like to try the Creamback 75.

Picked up a H75 myself Joe. I like the 70th, and I have them paired together in my 2x12, but I think the creamback 75 sounds better. Its not as hard edged, and it has a bit more complexity to the midrange.
