NAD Cornford In Da House

Re: NAD Cornford In Da House

Looks like a very cool amp. The controls look like all that small amp needs...

Makes me wonder why most of the manufacturers use EL84s in their single power amp tube amps. Is it because bigger tubes won't sound as good in a class A amp?

Congrats on the amp! look forward to clips!

Re: NAD Cornford In Da House

I've had a Roadhouse 30 combo for about a year now and it's a great amp. Will do anything from dead clean, mild o/d to screaming distortion. It takes pedals really well. Although I don't use it like this I tried it set for mild drive and used my Blackstar Drive for leads and it was awesome.

Re: NAD Cornford In Da House

I've had mine a couple of weeks now and I'm ashamed to say my Matamp hasn't been switched on since I've got the Cornford.

Its does everything from lean to full on overdrive and is easy to dial in great tone. Likes all my guitars and handles pedals well. Think the Tubescreamer and Blues Driver might be redundant though!
