That's nice! Are you gonna restore it or leave as-is?

Glue/tape down some tolex. Darn your grille cloth by hand. Get the reverb fixed. Get a slip cover for gigs. Call it done. Great beater old Fender amp.

Congrats. I am muy jealous!

I'd leave the cosmetics as-is.. As above, get a slip cover.
I would definitely get it inspected by a tech though - get the filter caps and general condition of the wiring checked. They'll spot issues like dry solders and bulging caps etc in 5 minutes. Issues that could lead to the premature death of such a wonderful amp, and an amazing CL find - nice score!

a peak inside...yes this pre CBS Blackface has the blue molded caps in place...some say they are the magic of the blackface tone....don't know and don't want to start a coupling cap tone battle...

tough question....would like to but...most likely leave as is...it's got the mojo...working man's AB763...authentic relic....kinda like...
will R&R electrolytic caps...filter, bias and bypass...
go to three prong plug...
check bias....
no mods of the electronics, just the things that have to be done...

I agree. Get whatever maintenance done that it needs and play the crap out of it.
