NAD: Custom 5w 6v6 amp

This thing sounds HUGE through my crappy crate v212. I have to get a attenuator for it, though. The cops already came by. :cool2:

It's really freakin nice for a 5w amp. It's really heavy because of the trannies. The amp looks and feels like it's well built. The PTP wiring looks messy but the tone is undeniable. Besides buying the attenuator, it needs a head cab. I'm thinking it might be a jcm 800 style cab. Color scheme will be White tolex, oxblood grill cloth, and black hardware. That or black tolex, salt & pepper grill and black hardware.

Now if you guys can excuse me...... I'm gonna get the cops to pass by again. :14:

Yeah, it looks a little home-made but the head cab will cover that. I didn't know it was going to have 4 tubes but I asked for most of the other specs. Effects loop, 6v6, different speaker connections, etc. I was looking for an end all "practice amp". I'm going to order tubes also. The JJ 6v6s he gave me is too dark and the tung sol 6v6gt I have is really bright but I'll give it another shot.

My amp is the 5w 6v6 version of that 50w. I didn't ask for a clean channel also. The price for my amp was $395 plus shipping. I asked for the fx loop and better caps so it cost me $55+. I know that he offers tranny upgrades too. Total price was $475 shipped. Worth every penny.
