Been playing since I was 14 and never once thought I'd get to have something like this. What an insane amplifier. I've had several Marshalls but nothing with this amount of voicing and control. Totally rips.

they are great amps for sure! surprising how nice the clean channel is, not fendery, but very nice

How does it compare to the Marshalls you've had?

I've had a jtm45, jcm900 sl-x, jcm 2000, and I've got a Laney Gh100L thats very marshall-esque. The Friedman is definitely 800 flavored on the OD channels but its got these power amp shaping controls that really let you shape the attack and eq curve across the whole spectrum. The low end can be as subtle or huge punchy/tight as you want it. Same with the mids, you can scoop them out or push them forward however you like. Incredibly versatile.

The clean is incredible. Loud, clear, not muddy and not shrill highs just a good overall balance. I need to run some verb through the loop to really see what I can do with the clean side.
