Post office guy took it home and it didn't go well with his collection of stolen Marshall and Vox, so he repacked it and slipped it back into shipping lanes??
The one time I've had a guitar go missing in shipping, turns out the adhesive on the shipping label failed and it has fallen clean off, somehow, and they were scratching their heads waiting to figure out who it belonged to until I called them

Arrived and in one piece! It sounds fantastic! I can see why people struggle to describe Brownface tone. Its totally unique. I'll have to record some demos and get them up here.

Some more porn for you guys. Checked the transformer codes. Choke dates to August 1960. Power transformer is original. Output transformer isn't original however it is the vintage correct piece. It dates from Nov 1965. It shares the same OT as the Tremolux and Vibrolux so it was likely pulled from one of those amps.

All the caps and resistors that have been replaced are either Sprague or Mallory.

Power cord looks like it's from a copier or printer but it's three prong and has been grounded.
