Re: NAD Randall Thrasher
gap maybe? i have no clue what seems to have upset you, either... i mean i get how you could arrive at that conclusion if you choose to, but it really doesn't seem like the obvious one to draw, and kinda seems like it'd take some massive presumption of ill intent to get there... so yeah, gap
elitist, dude, your amplification rig looks to be about what, 4 grand, conservatively - if not $6k? all my gear AND my car don't cost that much, kinda tough to go elitist on ya.... sorry if my recollection of how I felt cheated when I got an M307 in the mail some 15 years or so ago somehow offended you, I just described my then-teenage feelings about it, noted what advertised features drew me to it, and how what looks to be the very neck you dig (or its close cousin) was what was a big surprise/huge letdown to me... btw, ironically, that was the most my elitist self has ever - before or since - paid for a guitar. or any piece of gear.
so, uhm, you're the one with the big boy toys. not me.
I disagree. I think he's either trying to prove something beyond the scope of necessary constructive criticism, which only serves the purpose of some elitist schtick that he's holding on to, or there is some kind of cultural communication gap that I'm not understanding.
