Cheapest amp I ever bought only $650
Mike Fortin designed...
45 watts...
Gergeous clean tone...
2 channels with boost...
Dramatic sweep of overdrive goes from breakup to all out distortion...
Lots of versatility...
Bright, edgy but in an awesome way...
Active EQ controls allow extreme flexibility...
Two 6L6 tubes...
Superb onboard spring reverb...

The combo version of the RD45 of the Diavlo series Mike Fortin designed. A lot reviews always talk about high gain amps that are good for more than just metal but you would have a nearly impssible task to find another with this level of clean tone. Looking at prices of the Thrasher and Satan might make you think the Diavlo stuff is inferior but don't let that fool you because they have every bit as much tone as the big head except a simpler design which pretty much does it all anyway. Bright overall but great flexibility. Would not recommend stock speaker because it's bright and exacerbates the edginess of the amp but doesn't take much to tame shrillness. Responds to every aspect of gear such as pickups, wood, pedals, and dramatic results with speaker swapping. Woody neck pickup sound. High gain lead tone is brilliant, nearly sounds processed similar like an EVH or 6505 so very, very good for soloing. Cannot say enough great things about this amplifier. For once in my life I am proud to own a Chinese made heavy metal amp and not ashamed of it because it's built like a German bunker and rocks better than anything else you can buy for the money.
