Iceman was a poster who boasted of a NGD when pressed for pics he never delivered kept saying later. He kept saying what a great deal he got on it (but wouldnt say what it was) and whining over that even though he got a spectacular deal he didnt like the color. The forum whipped itself into a frenzy cause he posted a NGD without pics and copious amounts of whining after some time and many posts by people other than the OP Iceman finally returned to say that he had gotten the guitar and had traded it already. The forum then proceeded to turn it into a epically long running thread.

Thats the gist of it as I remember but I'm sure others have clearer memories of it.

The short version of it is Icemanning is posting that you got a NGD but you never tell us/show us what it is.

Since my NGD passed, I just posted the sweetwater stock pictures of my guitar. I have forgotten to take my camera with me the three times I have had it out jamming since last Thursday. I figured I would do a photo shoot when my new strap arrives. That way I can post a NSD (new strap day) thread with the guitar pics.. heh...

But, back to OP, what type of amp did you get?

Close enough. The thread in question was nuked. And Epic is an understatement. That thread was life altering if you read it all. Right up there with Dune and The Bible and Lord of The rings IMO....

But this thread does have a distinct chill about it Glen.

The other essential detail in the notorious Iceman thread saga was that, not only would he not furnish pics, he would not even TYPE OUT THE NAME OF THE (alleged) GUITAR. Idiots continued for weeks to guess or the coax an answer. Epic fail. Godzilla facepalms all round.

Luckily, thanks to the wonders of the Interweb, I believe that I may know the make of Glenn's new amp.
