New Acoustic Guitar Day

Yesterday I went to try out what they had at my local music store and boom I found this in my budget.

Seagull Entourage Rustic Burst

It was definitely the best sounding acoustic guitar there under $800 to my ears. Nice color to it, love the simi-satin finish. Plays almost as well as the used Taylor that was siting next to it, but of course it wasn't quite there.

Feels a lot like my Les Paul, and has a nice thin neck and wide board.

If it was clear out I would post some pictures of it in natural light so yall could see the burst better, but it's pretty cloudy right now.

Nice! I've played a couple of Seagulls over the years (never owned one, though) and I always thought they were great guitars.

Congrats! :fing2:

Re: NAGD

Congrats!! The little music store here in town carrys Seagulls. Ive played a bunch of different ones there and they are real nice. last time I went in I had my youngest daughter with me. We went in to get her a new Capo as hers came up missing. I said you want to look around? Of course I head to the electrics, she goes to the accoustics. She was eyeing couple. I said let me know if you want to play something. (Was her first journey to a music store) Can I??? She played one Seagull and liked it (her prev guitar was an Aria student sized guitar. She locked eyes on a diff Seagull. I got it down for her and she played a bit and I could see on her face it was love. Of course I was THRILLED to see that face without any boys in the area!! I ended up getting her that model off of ebay a week or so later.

They are well made, great players !!! Hope you get lots of years of tunes outta it!!

Re: NAGD

Yea, they are great guitars. Very easy to play. I would have be thrilled to get one from my parents when I was starting out.

Very pretty guitars, and sound amazing. Great value. But take my opinion with a grain of salt, because I'm still in the honeymoon phase

Re: NAGD

Very nice! I have an S6 and it's such a good guitar, regardless of the price (which was low)
Those S6 seagulls are nice as well.

I love the way they make all of their acoustics look nice without being flashy or over the top like some brands do.

I have been picking it up and playing it almost every time I see it. I thinking of moving it away from my desk so I can actually get some work done.
