Ok i spent some time researching it because i love charvels.
And it is a Charvel Fusion Special but a later model that didn't have the 2 singles in the bridge and no cutaway like on the picture i posted.

Those are the same posts I ran across before buying it. Which kind of confirm my thoughts that it's probably a Japanese Fusion. The pickup ring and square route tell me that it was never routed for single coils like the majority of fusions. Also the bridge pickup isn't American.

I'm not a collector because I'm in search of great quality or value. I'm a collector because I'm a tinkerer and I like having cheap projects. I am thrifty and even though I have a decent job, I would never let something recreational take priority over home expenses. The downside is that I have too many marginal guitars that I can't get rid of.

I've been able to sell off all of my unneeded guitars without losing a dime. People that buy "expensive" guitars usually can't make the same claim.

What stripper have you had the best luck with when refinishing? I was thinking that orange stuff from Rockler might work?

If you're talking about Citristrip that will work but it *might* start working on the factory finish. I'd try to remove the crap finish first and see what the factory finish looks like before going any further. Just pick up a small can of lacquer thinner to start. Just pour some on a rag and start wiping the body down. I was able to clean off a body I had repainted a year before just using lacquer thinner. You might even be able to find the logo on the headstock.

That's what I intend to do. The paint comes off pretty easily so I'm going to try stripping it.

If all the paint comes off that easily, it's not a bad idea. You probably will have to sand off the sealer coat at the very least.

No natural isn't working for me. It needs to be a hyper colour not ''grandpa's piano''.
I am thinking try and take it back to original like domya suggested first.
