Re: NAMM 2014 Preview - ESP USA, E-II and LTD new models!

Not a bad looking line up. he maple fretboards look great.

Some nice stuff there. I dig the USA MIII and those standard series ST models with the white pickguards.

That E-II Mystique is nice looking too. Sorta half way between PRS and Fender by the looks of it. I dig it.

And many, many more, just check out the blog post where I've laid them all out.

I dunno about that pink/blue Warbird though. Hahaha.

I was just about to gripe about ESP making sig models that look essentially unusable to anyone except the guy in said band, but…

This is snazzy

And this is fantastic. I have no interest in the crazy bridge, but this is just a great looking guitar to me.

The Ben Weinman sig is really cool, and I'm not really even a fan of the band.

A guy on my forum pointed out that the inlays are a subtle nod to the Dillinger Escape Plan logo, which I think is pretty cool.

I can't stand them. Cool guitar though.

"What's going on with that bridge?"

It's an Evertune. The new Ola Englund Washburn has one, and I think they've been around for at least a year now

And Chthonic are a Taiwanese kinda-Symphonic Black/Folk Metal band. Jesse's pretty good, but I'm surprised he's got a signature, he's not really the focal point in any way

Re: NAMM 2014 Preview - ESP USA, E-II and LTD new models!

I like the look of the Alex Skolnic model. I agree with what one poster said about so many of the models are too signature for me. Like the Will adler and ones with the huge logo and inlays. Sadly, I like alot of the features of some of them, but I wouldnt want to look like a fanboy. They should offer "naked signature models". They usually have an Esp version, and LTD version which is cheaper. and they should do a naked version which has all the features except the logoing.

ESP/LTD are gonna kill it in 2014 from the look of things. Impressive.
