Nashville tele/w Seymour Duncan's

Hi I asked a SD rep what would be close comparison to fender Texas specials and he recommends the broadcaster set, but I am wanting to set my tele up Nashville style. Due to being left handed they do not make left hand fender Nashville so I'm redoing my lefty fender tele. What my question is what pickup would go with the broadcasters using a middle pickup. Or what would anyone recommend as far as a 3 pickup configuration for a Nashville tele. I was going with a set of Texas specials with a Texas special strat in the middle position. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks Eddie

Welcome to the forum!

I would pick an SSL-2. It is quacky and a great single coil strat sound. It works well with more modern radius and a plain 3rd string.

if i was going to do a nashville tele, id put a sm1 neck, ssl2 middle, jb bridge. if you want more twang then id go for the broadcaster or antiquity II

Ok thanks everyone for the replies. Being lefty they don't make a Nashville and having my tele routed and looking for a good 3 configuration to put in . I play more the Haggard country sound. Thanks all!
