D Dabatross New member Jun 6, 2007 #1 I have an ibanez 450 dx guitar with an emg 81 installed in the bridge. When I do divebombs with natural harmonics, the note fades very quickly. Also, the G and low E string seem to flap more than usual. Any cause for this?

ginormous Understatmentologist Jun 6, 2007 #2 Re: Natural harmonic fading out Try backing off the height adjustment on the pups, just a bit. The magnetic field may be pulling on the strings too strongly. If this doesn't help, adjust the bridge, or toss it for a new one entirely.
