Vangoa brand
I think it's a Grote sub company
I have seen Vangoa and Grote used interchangeable on some guitars
I digress....

It came with
a case
A strap
Spare strings
Tuner
Tools

Not a bad deal
Tunes like a guitar
The hard part was setting the bridge and intonation

Nice clanky banjo tones

It will lose a lot of volume I think

Well, that's the thing- I have a Variax, which has a pretty cool banjo preset. A guitar's tuning makes the actual physical aspect of playing rolls not too bad, but the sound has a lot to do with the tuning of a banjo. Those displaced notes make authentic banjo rolling difficult if not impossible on a regular-tuned guitar.
