NBD, new semi-hollow bass day!

I've always loved semi-hollow basses like the Gibson EB-2/Epi Rivoli. Not that I could ever afford one of those... I used to have a Hofner 500/4

an Ibanez ASB-140

and a "Conqueror" EB-2 copy

Both the Hofner and Ibanezes were great, but I had to sell them when $ got tight, the Conqueror was a steaming pile that I got ripped off on (don't buy "vintage imports" off of Ebay unless you can inspect them first!) So I'd been looking for one to replace these for a while.
These were over at the Rondo Music website for really cheap. It's so much like the Ibanez I used to have, I'm sure it was made in the same factory in Korea. Although this one was MUCH cheaper.
It feels really great, it sounds ...OK (we're on a pickup forum, what do you think I'm researching right now :D
It's a 32" scale, it's light, it arrived almost in tune, I'm sure it could use a setup and I'd really like to get a set of flatwounds on it. For less than $300 with a case, you really can't go wrong with these. Other than the wedding-band color it came in...
We'll see how long I can resist modding it for.
