NBGD - I take the 5th

I was looking for a bass mainly for writing. Now that a lot of our stuff is 7-string, I can't map things out easily on my 4-string Washburn. Plus, that is an acoustic bass and really does not give me the recorded tone I am looking for. I picked up this Jackson 5 (yeah, pun). Plays very well out of the box, I am sure I can dial it into great territory. It has two active humbuckers and 3 band EQ; it really growls.

I was happily surprised the blue actually has a bit of metal flake under the blue. It looks really nice up close.
