Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling S.U.B. AX4. Currently a Guitar Center exclusive. What is it?
Well, it's $329 normally. $229 on sale, plus I traded in a couple things that were just sitting on a shelf for a few years unused and got an extra 10% off.Very nice. Bet that thing set you back a pretty penny. I like that quilt top. John Petrucci is a genius when one of those things are in his hands.
He's no Pete Thorn, though.^^
JP could make a dog turd sound good.
Keeping the no-ring look. I don't plan any cosmetic changes, just maybe some functional changes (definitely a dTuna, maybe a FR Special, possibly new pickups). Are you thinkin about cream triple shot rings
Cuz that's what i plan for my blue flame Ibby with chrome hardware

I have to admit, it's a photo top, not even a veneer. It does look good, though. That is quite the quiller quilt!

It's a Sterling-labeled licensed Floyd Rose copy. Nothing too special, but not terrible from what I've seen so far. That aint to bad at all.....What style trem is on it now? Looks kind of like an ibanez edge series from what i can tel.....Really good looking guitar..
What is the purpose of the triple shot rings? I see alot of people saying things about them and ive seen them on the the SD website, but what is there sole purpose or i guess what im asking is what do they do?
the trim rings have two small slider switches
the switches
both to center = humbucker in series = normal humbucker
one to center + one to outside = split coil, direction of the one on the outside determines which coil is live.
both switches out = humbucker in parallel = lower output more single coil like but still hum free
