NBGD!

Re: NBGD!

The OP's S.U.B. guitar is Crafted In Indonesia. My local dealer has the basic version with the EBMM two-point vibrato and a transparent yellow top. Blue is definitely better for disguising rout edges. The neck profile is rather nice.

Yeah, the two-point trem version is called the AX3.

Re: NBGD!

Interesting thing I just noticed. Look at the pickups.

Notice a difference between them?

Re: NBGD!

Ok I give up.
Look at the holes molded into the bridge pickup. Notice that the mounting screw holes are larger than on the neck and it also has square-shaped holes that allow you to see the coil wire.

Yes my JB/Jazz set is like that.

Re: NBGD!

So, I did a little googling (since I'm at work ON A HOLIDAY and have access to a big monitor) and it appears that even in the stock photos on the Sterling site that's what the pickups look like. Also, the old AX40 (before the AX40D replaced it) had the same interesting feature. I'm going to guess they are indeed the same pickups as the old AX40.
