New Cab Day! happy day :) I tested everything out for an hour at max volumes and FULL DISTORTION yesterday, everything is perfect! Extreme apocalyptic MAYHEM! Don't worry, I lift with my legs, and use a cart and a weightlifter's back brace, as this thing weighs well over 100 pounds of MONSTER GLORYZ!!!:eyecrazy:

Rock on brutha! Ya, the joneses ain't got nothing on this! neighborhood watchdawgs would be screamin' if I cranked this in my apartment for sure :)

Whoa. That's imposing.

What's the rack unit on top of the L6?

Thanks brutha! Ya, I command the stage with lots o' stage presence now! RAWR

I got these cabs on sale since GK is doing a clearance to make way for their new line, and I really like the metal cab cover that they ditched on their new models. these cabs only weigh 40 pounds each, and both fit together in the back seat of my corrolla, or one can be squeezed into the trunk. The rack unit on top is MY SECOND RIG OF DOOOM! It is a peavey tour 450, I got it for $180 on fleabay, so its a keeper, and a nice backup.

I have been using line 6 bass amps for years and they KILL!! here are l6 clips:

Thanks man, it is my fav bass ever; so glad guitar center had a great deal on it this time last year. Stoked to have the standard issue 8x10 bass rig now, man this thing slays :)

I am proud of myself for selling off gear that I do not use: my 80 pound bulky backbreaking ampeg 410 that is tough to load in my car which sounds great, and my marshall jcm900 which just does not cover the type of music I play. Yesterday, I did notice that at extreme volumes I got a high pitched almost beeping sound, so I cannot help but wonder if that was the horn pleading mercy, or a weird vibration from the metal grill. I think it was the latter, but whatever the case is, I definitely will not be turning it up to those earbleed loud levels again, I could only imagine my last guitarist telling me to "turn that darn bass down", I also remember the bar owner telling me to turn it waaay down with my 212 combo cause they could not hear the drink orders, and I turned it so far down it was barely audible and they were then happily selling drinkz ;)

I think it's hilarious everyone's going bonkers over tiny amps and you have one that requires a dolly and back support belt!

I dig it.

(most of mah penmanshipz on dis here forum is tongun in cheekz, so plz do not get featherz ruffled to any potential readerz of this)

now I has a black arts toneworks pharaoh fuzz pedal. I feel like a pharaoh annointed with the TONE OF HUNDREDS OF WATTS OF FULL STACKZ!! I joined a gym and have finally started body building too, and the back brace and dolly are necessary to ascend to heaven like a true tone god. yes, the pharaoh had many people cart around his giant blocks so he as a god and only he could ascend to heaven through his pyramid. I finally own my pyramid, and wish I had other bodybuilders and bodygaurds to haul and protect it, but for now I will just do its bidding. many arbitrarily choose only less than 100 wattz and a single cab (measily cab at that) but now I know teh TONEZ OF TEH GODZ! I needz a full stack cause that is what is standard issue for PRO MUSICIANS hence it is not half empty or half full, but a FULL STACK OF MAYHEM :) this is whatz I need for my tonal questz. I have kept my 212 combo that is 500 watts and weighs 37 pounds and overpowers most guitarists tho with their micro rigz (!!!) and I have been told by a barowner to turn it down. but it was not ENOUGH FOR ME, I NEEDZ A FULL STACK AND HUNDREDZ OF WATTS OF PURE UNADULTERATED POWER OF TONE FROM THE PHARAOH TONE GODS PYRAMID OF POWER:14:

Frank Lee finds it hard to get the Tr00 Kvlt Black Metal Sound (TKBMS) from anything small. Moving the big cabs and heads can smear one's corpse paint, but IFLHO it is worth it for the TKBMS and He can touch up the corpse paint (TUTCP) using his Official Darkthrone Commemorative Candelabra (ODCC). IFLHO, the arguments in favor of small amps are usually made by those who do not use corpse paint as an important part of their sound. You know who you are.

Thank you.

Trooof! I knowz

Wait, you actually did get this?

I thought you posted it in that other thread as a joke.

My apologies for the rude comment. I sincerely thought I was being trolled.

Well, his cabs only weigh 40 lbs. I think that's mostly an internet phenominon anyway, the last bassist I was playing with was using an ampeg 8x10 and an 18" with a 400+.

Nice rig dude.

thanks brutha :beerchug:

people like me just NEED 8 speakers to make sure their mayhem is heard by all. that 810 combined with a 18" seems like a monstrosity :headbang: I will save $$ to buy a split signal pedal to play my 212 combo along with my 810 :) my line 6 is louder than my peavey 450 and I was playing both of them till the red light indicating internal destruction.

LINE SIX IS TEH SHIZZLE :) With my line 6 pedal I can instantly in one click totally transform my whole sound, and it sounds way legit, also has a tuner, wah in the pedal but I just use the volume function instead of wah, and compressor inside of it.

Rawk!!! Many thanks :beerchug:

Thats a killer rig man, I love the grill plates they look mean !

Cool, thanks man :)

ya, I think those grill plates look great and match the head color, and are pretty indestructable which is what I need since they go in the back seats of the corrolla, where with my ampeg 410 the cloth grill got a tiny rip here and there from stuffing it in the trunk and back seat.

Dear god... Well, I guess I don't need to ever travel to hear your band play. I'll be able to hear it from here!
