NCD Traynor YBX212

Rented this 8 ohm cab with 2 vintage 30s in it for recording coming up with one of my bands. Probably will end up buying it though If I really like it.

It's heavy! but its Traynor so you know its tough as nails.

I'll report back in tomorrow with how it sounds with my Mesa 5:50 express.

I plugged my mesa combo into just the cab... sounds great but is overly bassy but that is just the closed back thing and can be adjusted with the amps EQ... V30s never fail to impress me

Cool . . . I always figured that upright 2x12 configuration made more sense than the usual side by side speaker arrangement.

Is that cab made of plywood, or MDF?.

I think that design is great, close to the best! especially if you have a head that is not long

How wide is it, in inches?. And I'd still like to know if it is plywood or MDF, if you know.

I could fit that into my man closet. This pleases me.
