What amp is it? And did you change them because the old ones were failing, or just because? How did the tone change?

'93 Bassman RI. PTP board went in around '98, never got to the cap board. The main board is from Hoffman when they were making them in house.
Figured after 19 years on the original caps, it was time. Just clipped the old components flush on the old board, extended the ground and plastic tied it to the old board.
If anything, the amp is a little spongier (due to less filtering) and well behaved. Also no hiss when halfway open.
