ndless wah & clean-ish folk jam w/ Zoom G1Xon

Long.. rambling.. repetitive.. seemingly endless.. self-indulgent jam with the Zoom G1Xon Looper/MultiFX

Starts with a wah solo followed by a folky clean-ish almost mandolin sounding thing @4:35 min (..some random pedal preset I stomped on)..

Backing track was a bit too loud maybe? ... tried out a new "OFC stereo" cable I bought going from the Zoom into my digital handheld recorder...but it kinda sucked Bright, thin, edgy & brittle...especially with the 'Stereo' setting on my recorder...ended up recording it mono L/R which was better. I guess I'll just stick to my trusty guitar FX patch cable next time


Recording: Zoom pedal's "line/headphone out" to my digital handheld recorder's "Line-in" using a 1/8" to 14" stereo cable.

Nope, the backing isn't too loud in my opinion. The balance is actually quite good.

Long, rambling, self indulgent ... right up my alley!

haha...cool..I thought it was a bit loud. That FX patch cable has spoiled me..too used to sticking way out over everything else now :laugh2:

As a hung ga practicioner and fan of wuxia, I approve of that video!
First clip looked like wing chun ... second one looked like crane, but he only knew 2 crane techniques?! (Sinking elbow and full reincarnation crane) ... Third one, the old man looked like tiger at first but then kinda morphed into eagle claw? But maybe not?! ... And the fourth one was just, what the hell?! Lol

Fit the music, though!

Thanks man...you're pretty clued up! Can't say I have the faintest idea about any of the styles/techniques myself lol. I'm just a long-time kung-fu/Hong Kong movie fan (mostly for the bloody fight action/awesome cheese factor lol..pretty much in the same way I like B grade horror & zombie stuff :lmao and it did sync/fit rather well with the jam ...so...
