Has anybody tried to partially split one neck humbucker coil with another bridge humbucker coil split? Not the regular fashion where you just shunt the series junctions to ground so that say a coil from each is in parallel, but actually wiring opposite polarity inner or outer coil pairs in series and sending the junction to a grounded resistor/capacitor. So as to get the lows of the neck and the highs of the bridge. One coil dumping into the other and the series junction grounding out the frequencies necessary. Same as on a single humbucker but using an n and s coil from each humbucker. If anybody has, what are the sonics like? Is regular inner/outer coil splitting preferred?
