You don't normally think of Teles as neck divers - maybe an SG, but not a Tele. This one is a 72 Thinline style (Warmoth) which has a lighter body than solid body ones, and has the tendency to head south a bit when hands are off the neck. This Mono "Betty" strap solved the problem nicely. As you can see it's wider than the average strap, and the backing material provides just enough traction without being shirt-pulling grippy. And the memory foam inserts - combined with the width of the strap - makes the "felt" weight of the guitar practically zero. This would be a nice match for a Les Paul.
