Neck Humbucker...strat Size

Is There A Single Coil Size Humbucker Either Duncan Or Dimarzio That Sounds As Close As Possible To A Dimarzio Paf Pro? Need It For Neck Position In A Jackson Soloist....bridge Position Is C5 Right Now But Soon To Be A Custom....

Any Advise Would Help...i've Tried Jb Jr...no Like

Closest would be the Little 59 or JB Jr. They'll never sound like a full size humbucker tho because the smaller Strat size pickup senses a smaller area of the string than a wider paf style humbucker. Smaller mini-humbucker pickups sense a narrower area of the string with maybe a 1/2" in between the two rows of polepieces. The two coils in a full size humbucker have two rows of polpieces about 1" apart, which results in a very differant tone. There are other differences in construction too which result in the two differant styles of pickups having differant tones.

The lil59 or Cool Rails will be closer to a PAF type tone.

Dimarzio makes a Pro Track tht's supposed to sound like their PAF type humbuckers, but like Lew said, the constriuction of these types of pickups make them similar, but not exact, to their fullsized counterparts.
