ParameterMan is right about the 36th Anni PAF having a certain..3D "swirl", although mine is a bridge model. I'm satisfied with it in the bridge of my ES-335. An under-rated HBer is the Air Classic with it's marvelous touch sensitivity, although it's not strictly vintage voiced, like some of Duncan's offerings. Good luck!

PS: I should think that a Seth Lover in the neck would be good.

an A2Pn with an A5 fitted would be better in a tele than a 59n, iME

but to get something capable of upper-mid and high-end clarity while staying warm, consider a demon.

take all the pole screws out of one coil and it's very close to being an A5 bluesbucker, btw
