I planning to fit a set of neck inserts for one of my guitars (the crappy one) for experimental purposes. I bought those inserts but I contemplated installing them.
The question that comes to my mind is not the neck heel installation part but the neck cavity of the body.
Do I drill the holes on the neck cavity size by the bolts outer thread diameter or bolts inner diameter?
!. Does the bolts suppose to plop right into the neck cavity and then screwed tight onto the inserts?
2. Or the bolts screws into the cavity holes and then screws tight onto the inserts?
Anyone who has experience in this, please shed some light, thanks.
