Neck pickup for Super Distortion

I'm gonna be putting a super distortion (wired in dual sound) in my epi lp. I don't know what I should put in the neck. I'm currently thinking about the Pearly Gates or a PAF Pro.

PAF Pro is the classic match up.

I had that exact combo ages ago and it was great.

I have a Super 2 paired with the Super Distortion I have in my Firebird and it's a really good match.

Of the two mentioned: PAF Pro, but mostly to keep it in the DiMArzio family.

However, a PG would be a great choice IMO, and is THE neck pup for an LP. I think the PG ius a better choice than the PAF pro, honestly.

I happen to have a DiMazrzio PAF in my SuperD LP. And that works pretty well too!

Best of both worlds.

Clear in the neck, chunky in the bridge.

How does the Super 2 sound both clean and distorted? I also intend on coil tapping the neck.

Super 2 ≠ Clean. It's a Super D for the neck.

Always the Super 2 for me, but I have a lot of guitars. So I have that combo specifically for what it does. If you need a more versatile guitar, then Pearly Gates neck or Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAF if you need to match brands.
