I can't lower neck pickup height more. This is already the lowest position it can get.

1) 500k or 1meg for neck pickup volume pot? Is a change to 500k make it brighter enough?


2) Which pot brand and model do you recommend?

3) Then there will be

300k volume pot on the bridge
and 500k volume pot on the neck (with modification)

Is there a quite difference at volume swells with volume knobs?

I mean for example will volume swells with neck pickups will be more sensitive and bridge pickup will be slower.

Well, volume swells have more to do with the taper...and I am really picky about them. I've gone through several of the same types of pots to find ones that work for me. Most people aren't that sensitive. The type of pot (audio or linear) has more to do with the act of tapering than the value, though. I would start with 500k to see how it affects the sound. As far as neck pickup swells vs bridge pickup swells...they should be the same- at least that is what I go for. Everyone is different, so you will have to see where you fall in there. This can only be done with experimenting. We can read about how something sounds or feels all day, but real world experience is really the best.
