Neck pickup to go with Duncan Distortion?

The Jazz is certainly less fat than a Black Winter, but as far as matching with a Distortion, I'd say:
Jazz
Sentient
Full Shred

The Screamin Demon reminded me something like how a Custom Custom is thick and fat sounding compared to say a Custom 5.
Actually, I would say the SD I have sounded similar to the CC with the thick lows and mids, but tighter. I liked it better to be honest.
At least in my all mahogany BC Rich neck thru Beast.

I've also been curious about trying the Pearly Gates Plus in the neck position.
I guess what I'm searching for is something between the 59 or Sentient neck, and the Distortion neck.
Something with some bite and harmonics, but that stays extra tight in the low end.

I think you might like the Demon in neck position. It has bite and stays tight.
Jazz neck is always a good choice for dark guitars too. Another modern wind with sparkly cleans and nice definition at gain.

It seems your Beast is pretty dark sounding - have you considered the Saturday Night Special neck?
A4 mags tend to do pretty well in boomy guitars - generally tighter in the lows than A5s.

If you want a hotter-than-vintage neck the PG Plus could be a pretty good option.
Definitely has bite, both in the highs and the upper mids. Not sure it'd be tight under gain at the neck.
But I bet it'd deliver a great lead voice there.

No personal experience with the jazz but if I was gonna do it I would choose jazz. I own a distortion but don't like it as much as I like others. It sits on a shelf right now. It's a tb6.
