Neck pickup to match an IM1

Hey everyone. I just joined a few days ago, but I have been hanging out here for a while now. I was looking for thread on this but couldn't find anything, and I figured you guys might be able to help me out. On to the question now: I am building a strat with two humbuckers mounted straight to the body. It is going to be alder with a maple neck and fretboard. I am going to put a bladerunner trem on it, and it's just going to have one volume and a three way toggle. I know that I want an IM1 from the custom shop for the bridge, but I also want a good neck humbucker. I want a kind of smooth, warm sound for the neck, and it needs to balance well with the bridge. Sorry if there is already a thread on this. Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the IM1 specifically but I do use the '78 (Evenly Voiced Harmonics) pickup in the bridge of a Strat. It matches up very well with an A2Pro humbucker in the neck position.

Re: Neck pickup to match an IM1

I have a Pearly Gates neck on HH ash strat and I just love it - Cranked or clean it is super sweet and just hot enough - I have matched with TB-11 but plan to switch bridge PU out - Maybe with Pearly Gates Bridge!

Re: Neck pickup to match an IM1

Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up going in a different direction on the guitar, but I may still end up with something else like this on a different guitar. And I realize that this is a way late response(lost my password, oops), but thanks for the advice, and the welcome.
