I need help choosing a neck pickup to match with a Demon in the bridge. needs to be a single coil. it can't be muddy or have alot of noise. and it needs some output for soloing on the neck like arpeggio kind of stuff like Vinnie Moore. Any suggestions?

Go for a Duncan Classic Stack Plus. Lew

You could always try a Hot Rails. They're high output and single-coil sized.

For something with more character than the Hot Rails, I like the Cool Rails. The CR also backs off very well. I have a CR in the neck of a fat strat with a dmeon in the bridge, and it's a very tasty combo. ;)

Lew's suggestion is a pretty good one, too. The Demon itself is not a high output pickup. A lower output classically voiced pickup might be just the ticket.

I've heard the hot rails gets muddy sometimes and that its not good for clean stuff. I've heard good stuff about the cool rails and i'm thinking thats what i might get.

I agree with Mike on both counts. My first reaction was the Cool Rails.

The Cool Rails sounds great in the neck with a Vintage to mid-output Bridge humbucker like the Demon.
Go for it!
