Neck pickup wanted - Seymourized but lower output

Hey folks, I'm diggin' the 'SEY' neck pickup I got - it's the older version of the Distortion for neck - but it's a bit over the top paired with the bridge pickup I plan for this thing (FRED).

Anyone know which Duncan pup would have the same EQ as the Distortion Neck, but lower output?

Maybe the Full shred neck? I don't know, but you could lower the pickup. Did i understand it right? YOu use the Fred as the Neck pickup? So do you use the SEY?

I was confusing there, sorry.

FRED - bridge

Distortion (SEY) Neck model in the neck and it IS lowered! Works pretty well but I usually have to roll of the vol of the neck a bit..in the test axe (SG) not a problem - 2tone 2 vol but new guitar will have 3 knobs, might be Vol Tone Tone...

Have you tried lowering it? I had a Seymourizer 2 installed in the neck of my Kramer back in the 80s. At first, it was too much for the JB in the bridge. What I did was lower it quite a bit, especially the bass side. Now it sings, and it's one of my favorite neck pickups.

Yeah I lowered it...I'll try dropping it some more, long as it sounds good I guess that works.
