Hi, i own a Parker p-40, which has a HSS config (+ Piezo saddles). I dont really like the stock single coils, they are too similar, noisy, and 'dull' for a lack of better word!
I'd like the middle pickup to be birght and Telecaster-ish (maybe gives a bit of a rockabilly sound too), and the neck to be a bit darker for jazzy type sounds, the kind of sound you hear from hollowbody gibsons (i know i cant get that spot on,....but close). I also want to get that strat inbetween sound if possible.
Anyways, some options i have been considering:
* Kinmans - have a lot of good talk about em, noiseless, but REALLY EXPENSIVE! (Keep in mind everything musical is more expensive in Aus for some reason)
* Fender Vintage Noiseless telecaster pickups - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7343178289&fromMakeTrack=true
I'm thinking these will have a good variety of sounds in them? Any opinions on them? Half the price of Kinmans, would i regret getting a set instead of kinmans?

Any other single coils you would suggest?
