On a less sarcastic note, Demon or a Distortion neck. I think the Demon would be the way to go myself.

Ω is a really inaccurate way to measure how hot a pickup is. I'm sure the JazzB has more punch to it, regardles of the .2k difference.
That said, I've been playing this thing all day, tweaking a ton, and have come to the conclusion that the '59 is staying, on account of the gorgeous clean tones I can get out of it. I'll sacrifice some heat under gain for how sweet this thing sounds clean!

The jazz Bridge has an improved bass response as well as slightly more output compared to the neck model.
DC resistance is not everything in pickup construction, as you should know

Come on, do you really think the Jazz bridge is anything different than a Jazz neck with (maybe) a few more turns on it?
Maybe I didnt word it correctly intially but, I seriously doubt the jazz bridge in the neck is going to sound much different or any different that a jazz neck in the neck position. Its only .2K (how its listed anyway) of difference and I seriously doubt there is any other difference in the 2 pickups other than the logo being placed differently and a different label. IMO, you are not really going to hear a difference that small. Hell, I even would bet there are jazz necks floating around that have a higher resistance than some jazz bridges and personally, I wouldnt doubt if they are both wound the EXACT same way and 50% of jazz necks are wound hotter than jazz bridges just becasue of the natural varience of making pickups. If the Jazz neck cant get it done, I seriously doubt the jazz bridge will get it done and if it does, I think it is a plecebo effect more than anything.

I seriously doubt it. I bet if someone blindfolded you and swapped neck pickups in between, you would hear no difference.

I never said there was a huge difference in construction. But my ears hear, as stated, a bit more output and a bit more bass that a jazz neck, in the same guitar, and that difference is real. It´s also there in the ´59b vs ´59n, for example, which is why a 59n matches up better with vintage singles than a 59 bridge
