Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
What do you guys suggest for a single pedal (not too huge, maybe 2 spots) that can do Flange/Phase/Chorus/etc...

One pedal. Mostly I'm interested in selecting Phase/Flange, but nothing wrong with more.

example: Marshall Regenerator is always on my "hot" list for this...

What else is out there?

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

Boss chorus ensemble (CE-20)?

I can think of units that can do 2 of the 3 but not all 3.
Hartmann Flanger is awesome.
Fulltone Choralflange
We're getting into $$ here.
Diamond Chorus does Chorus/Phase.

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

You rarely ever see Flange+Phase in a pedal, usually it's chorus+flange. While I don't really keep up with pedals, I don't think I've ever seen one that does phase+chorus or phase+flange.

Eventide modfactor?

Line6 used to have some 4-button modelers, and IIRC one was modulation, but I can't recall the name/model. I've got the AM-4 Amp Modeler, so it was part of that series. MM-4 maybe?

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

^ MM4 is correct. It's not a small pedal, though.

I'd consider a Line 6 M5 (or M9...I can't remember which is the smaller one) to do all the effects you want plus waaaaay more. And it'll do them well.

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

I'd recommend the Line 6 MM4 too. or, yeah, an M5, as it's a lot cheaper and will do all the same sounds (plus more as a bonus).

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

MM4 is the right idea (and a very cool pedal, but it's like half a board. I want single unit awesome: Phase/Flange/Chorus, maybe Leslie/tremolo or whatever in a Single Boss sized unit if possible. Under 100 bones.

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

I've got a Marshall Regenerator and it's a great little pedal; vintage and modern chorus, flanger, phaser, step phaser and a vibe...

I only took it off my board when I got my MXR Flanger, which covers my current mod tones, but have been thinking of putting it back on for the phaser and vibe.

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

Just to clarify, the Boss CE-20 is only a chorus pedal. It does not offer phasing, flanging or vibrato effects at all. I bought it for the Roland Dimension D simulations.

Eventide Mod Factor, perhaps?

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

The TC Dreamscape is good, and the Visual Sound H2O is very good from what I understand, but it has delay and chorus, not chorus and flange/phaser.

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

I have all my chorus needs met by my CF-& chorus factory. I have a DD-3 to cover delay. I want a one pedal modulation swiss army knife.

Re: Need a Multiple Modulation type pedal

For 35 bucks (shipped) this could be yours.. :14:

I love the TC stuff. Stereo Chorus Flanger is a nice one, the dreamscape is a nice contender too.

One thing nobody has mentioned yet though is that in the tc Vortex Flanger, using the Toneprint editor you can select a chorus sound. And on the Corona Chorus you can make a flanger sound. Since I own both I haven't tried it yet, but that could be a solution... Reading your posts I would go for the Vortex Flanger, really versatile and totally tweakable to your tastes with the Toneprint editor.
