Well, the neck is on order. I literally resorted to tossing a coin, then best of three, then best of five... to be sure, to be sure! The result was a straight sets win for ebony/maple... three heads in a row. I'll post up the results in 6 or 7 weeks when the new addition turns up on the doorstep.

Awesome! I think you will really like the combo! Also, you can oil/stain/paint/veneer the maple headstock to make it a bit darker–I think that will look better (since the darker board kinda threw you for a curve on your photo shopped pic.)
