The Fulltone Wahs and the Tesse Wahs are probably the best Wahs out. Pricey but extremely good sounding.
I have 3 Wahs. A Thomas Organ Co. Crybaby from the 60's that was modded by John Spina, A Vox 847 that was also modded by John, and a Vox Clyde McCoy. The Vox Clyde is a very good wah for the money. I bought mine used for $70 and for that money it was a steal. The Vox 847 that John modded for me is as good if not better than the Fulltone Wahs I have used. The Wah that I like the best out of the 3 is the original Crybaby. The Vox 847 is a very close 2nd., but I like the simplicity of just stepping on it an rockin' away. The Vox 847 has a dial on the side and can be tweeked to your liking if desired. I usually try to get it to sound like my old Crybaby.
If you want a no hassle kind of Wah llok at the Teese or the Fulltone, if you want a better sounding, more vocal Wah, buy a used Vox 847 and send it to Mr. Spina (Stratdeluxer97). Its definately worth it.
