Need advice about trade for a BC RICH 1983 gunslinger/assassin

Hey guys!
I need your opinion about a trade i could make. Some dude in Montréal wants to trade his oldschool BC rich for my Schecter hellraiser tempest. He would give 150$ to compensate in the deal... I just don't really Know a thing about BC rich in general... I want to sell my Schecter cause i'm not confortable with the neck.

Ive never played a BC rich that wasnt a POS.

That's a neat looking one there! That crackle finish has shown up on gtx guitars and some other 80s axes. That vibrato unit can be swapped for a gotoh if you wanted a top mount unit. Westones used that on quite a few guitar models. There's usually a demand for those on the westone forum if you swapped.

I have. I bought the same guitar , American made, class axe era, used, happy to have an American made BC Rich. Once I got it home I noticed the bridge was mounted too far to one side, causing the strings to be too far on the treble side. regardless, the guitar was heavily played, fretboard was slightly scalloped from heavy use, so obviously someone overlooked this problem enough to play the h@ll out of it lol

I'd bet that's a hell of a player. I'd say go for it if it feels good to you.

My concern is also about buying a 30 years old guitar too... This neck lOoks so nice to play tho, but i've always felt like bc rich guitars were mainly about glamour rock guitar looking and sparkles...

That thing is junk. It's a platinum series BC Rich. Keep your Schecter.
