I got mine used and didnt get the software
I'll have to see if i can download it from the website

There may also be firmware updates, but Peavey isn't great with those like other companies are.

Blackstar ID TVP series; reasonable price, great looks, great sounds that are easy to dial in and many different power amp models that sound lush.
More than enough effects and patches to get you by and a number of different models including 2x12 stereo. 1x10, 1x12 and a head/speaker version.
Pc editing and upgrades if you want go down that route too.
It was love at first sight/sound when I was shopping for a modelling amp!

Re: Need all suggestion for playing at home, $400 or less

I am trying to help a cousin of mine find a good budget amp. He is disabled and just plays at home. He like to play a lot of different styles so I figure a modeler will be best. His only requirement are it has a 12" speaker.
I don't have a lot of experience with amps like that. so I figured I would ask you guys. His budget is around $400.

A Vox AC4?:

It might be kind of limited in which styles it supports though.

Thanks for the input guys. We took him to a few stores he tried a ton of amps. In the end he decided on a vox vt100x. He really liked the diezel and orange settings. He is planning on saving up and buying a rockerverb later on.
