I cannot believe I just typed that...... Wow.

.
.
.my dad got this thing and wants to sell it on eBay. I have looked at a few aria banjos and prices are all over the place. This one looks to be plain Jane model to me, dot inlays, doesn't read aria pro ii, or deluxe at headstock, tuning keys aren't fancy...

Someone has put a clear drum skin over the thing and added some artwork underneath...

Any ideas what model, info, specs, pricing this is? Thanks for looking.

Do you know the year?

Not that I'm Aria expert. But it might help the search.

I do own a 1929 Weymann #9 banjo, though. So that makes me...

...a guitar player.

I haven't had it in my hands yet, I asked them to look for a serial number or anything stamped....they are old... I'll look as soon as I get a free moment to get over there..

It's a mid 70's standard 5 string. I have no idea of the model number, but they were a reasonable, entry level instrument (if that's what you call a banjo...).
The script used in the logo and the style of truss rod cover give away the date.
Aria still make banjos. The more up market stuff is supposed to be quite good.

Banjo knowledge....Oh,the shame......
Now,I really have to go and wash my mind out with some fat, nasty distorted guitar!!

Cheers,PJ
